.........This original, is handcrafted of heavy gauge metal, hand cut, welded, heated, hammered and ground.  No patina is applied, just a slight rust to hands and face, with a 4 coat lacquer finish.  Truly, a one of a kind piece. She is sold, thank you Dianne, but pieces are available from the limited edition of 35 cast bronzes.

     GARY L. MOSER is a sculptor who has a passion for creating art from metal.  From a few scraps of metal rod he has created exquisite trees…from a piece of sheet steel, he has created "Levi",  the life size sculpture of a young cowboy, pictured above. This dramatic sculpture is not your average "yard art".

         These are not your typical sculptures which are done by simply sculpting a piece of clay and sending it off to a foundry for an edition of 50.  Each welded metal sculpture that Gary creates is unique and absolutely all hand crafted.  He takes a piece of sheet steel, hand cuts it to shape, welds it together, grinds it smooth and applies his own finish and sealer.  From start to finish all of his metal art sculptures and wall  art  are  hand crafted  right  here at THE WELDED DONKEY.

      Country, is a sculpture that is about 24" tall.  She is made entirely of metal, by hand,  with patina at face, arms, legs and fence only.  She has a metal base and a four coat flat lacquer finish.  She is a one of a kind original.  No edition to be made.

        This piece is about 24" tall.  She too, is made entirely by hand, of metal.  She has a light patina at legs, arms, face and hair.  She has a four coat, flat lacquer finish.  She looks stunning on the metal base.  She is an original, not to be a limited edition. 

THEWELDEDDONKEY   studio is located in Cave Creek, Arizona, in the beautiful high sonoran desert.  It is very simple and rustic with an old rusty pot belly stove for heat, lending itself to a very unique and creative environment.

      "SERENITY"  This is the original piece.  This creation is made of cold rolled steel rod.  There is over 300' of rod in this piece. It is about 22" tall x 8" wide x 8" deep.  We are making an edition of 35.  It  has no patina, and 4 coat lacquer finish. 

TREE BASE, ENGRAVED SIGNATURE, DATE COMPLETE, METAL ROD
      This is the rear view of the first cast bronze in this edition of 35.  You can see the rods in this view.  Truly a unique creation.  This piece is bronze with a dark patina, which is hand rubbed out and hot wax finish.
